Today is the start of the new year and there was talk of the Aurora Australias would be visible in the Southern Hemisphere, we had just had a big solar storm so I decide to setup the camera in the backyard to see if I could capture it, This will be a first for me I walked out the back and could see a pinkish tinge on the horizon so Idecided to set my camera up. I was so excited to see I had knocked one thing of my bucket list, my only regret is I wish I had gone somewhere other than the backyard to capture it.
