Marks Offroad Adventures and Daytrips

       Today my daughter and I had planned a trip to go for a drive to Yenyenning Lakes in Bally Bally, the drive there took around 3 hrs with the amount of stopping and starting we did on the way down to look at a few things on the way. We left home around 10 am, stopped for fuel and some food and drinks to keep in the fridge for the trip, after getting what we needed we headed for Brookton highway, stopping at and old tin house for a couple of photos, ( I usually stop here for photos when heading towards Brookton) taking a detour on Westdale road to stop at the St John of God in the Wilderness church, opposite the church on Private property is the old ruins of the homestead of one of the original Pioneers in the area, the name slips my mind this post was written a few months after.  Today was a short trip I just wanted to go for a wander around a part of Thompsons Lake looking for birds and kangaroos, I didn't get to see many birds but I did manage to get a few photos of the Kangaroos there, I only spent and hour or so wandering around.  Today I decided I would go for a drive to Point Peron to get some photos of the birds and rocks around there, I also stopped at Shoalwater Bay to put the drone up, I was hoping there was a bit of rough water so I could spend some time photographing the water hitting the rocks, but today it wasn't rough.
